George Schiro is available to provide forensic science and crime scene investigation advice and consultation to authors, screenwriters, directors, and other media professionals working on books, movies, or television productions. He also has an interest in applying modern forensic science and crime scene investigation techniques to historical cases. Additionally, he can provide commentary on crime scene and forensic science related matters to media outlets. George has appeared on two episodes of The New Detectives airing on the Discovery Channel, one episode of Forensic Files airing on Court TV, one episode of Extreme Forensics airing on Investigation Discovery, one episode of Forensic Factor airing on Discovery Canada, one episode of Snapped airing on Oxygen, and an episode of Split Screen that aired on the Independent Film Channel. He has also provided commentary and interviews on various aspects of forensic science and crime scene investigation to several media outlets ranging from local news broadcasts and newspapers to international publications. In 1991, he analyzed evidence and issued a report in an investigation into the 1935 murder of U.S. Senator Huey P. Long.
